Meet Chef James Taylor
Chef James Taylor brings more than a decade of experience and a deeply personal approach to American cooking to The Joyce. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Chicago, he trained in some of the city’s most respected kitchens before relocating to Miami in 2021, where his work as a private chef quickly built a loyal following.
At The Joyce, Taylor draws on memory and tradition to shape a menu of classic American dishes. Carefully prepared, familiar in spirit, and refined in execution. His cooking focuses on clarity of flavor and thoughtful technique, creating dishes that feel both comforting and elevated.
